Opera Mini 6.5 on the BlackBerry - Connection usage
I have read online that Opera Mini has support for BIS. Then some people say it does not work with BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service). Can someone confirm if either it works with BIS default, or if a config option needs to be used?Close your mind and you will only see what you have always seen. Some users are having problems connecting with BIS with Opera Mini 6.5, and we are currently investigating this. This has only been reported on devices that run BlackBerry OS 6 or newer. We will of course provide an update when we've solved the problem, but in the meantime you can download the version for BlackBerry OS 4.7 from http://www.opera.com/mobile/download/versions/ and install it over USB from your PC. The 4.7 version unfortunately doesn't support pinch zooming.
