Trouble opening individual gMail Mesages

Overnight, a glitch seems to have developed in my gMail view when attempting to open messages. The gMail page opens. The messages are listed but when I click on the message, it opens with a message heading only and no message body.

Here is a clip. (Your link function did not work.) http://my.opera.com/zenbonobo45/albums/showpic.dml?album=9769562&picture=132462502

This glitch is isolated to Opera. I have gone through all the gMail preferences and settings. It is rare that I am unable to find a fix for such circumstances.

this was mentioned few times already, few threads below.
Disable/Uninstall AdBlock and everything will work perfectly.. just some ads will be displayed.

Some bug in compatibility between Gmail and AdBlockers.

I have the same problem. Removing adblock is not helpful. Any solutions?

I also had problems with gmail. First, there was a big palceholder-like square covering all window. It was cosed by adblock, but in the meantime I was changing some site preferences, like identification (to firefox) trying to figure out what's wrong. After disabling adblock, that identification was also causing problems, gmail wouldn't let me go into standard mode -- only basic.

Now everything works fine. I've reinstalled Opera, installed adblock (no probs now) and identification is by default - opera.

maybe some1 will find this useful.

Same issue here, no addBlock or anything else for that matter. Any suggestions?

Did you mask Opera into something? ...firefox, ie....

Same problem here, never used AdBlock or anything. Also having other difficulties with IMAP, sometimes Opera goes into infinite loop of "Synchronizing / Connecting" and later it says it cannot connect to my IMAP server. Reproduced on two different computers with different ISPs, connecting to two different servers (gmail and then employer mail server). Definitely started happening with 11.60, before there was no problem like this. At work M2 started to be unusable because of this sad Do not want to switch to Thunderbird but if this doesn't get fixed I'm afraid I will have to.

It's a sad situation having to switch between Opera and Chrome (for Gmail) all the time. Gmail is a widely used web app, and I would love if Opera could ensure maximum compatibility across upgrades...

i started having this issue yesterday. no adblocking extensions, just using urlfilter.ini (nothing gets blocked when visiting gmail). i'm even using a blank CSS for gmail.

oddly enough, everything works fine in Opera Next, but the issue is present when loading gmail with 11.60

might have to back up my settings and reinstall.

Removing adblock or downgrading opera did not help here, but deleting operaprefs.ini did. Bit of a bother, though, to go through all the preferences I wanted. I do not know which setting was causing the problem.
