Google Maps Streetview in Opera 11.52
In Maps I can no longer drag the yellow man icon to a street to enter street view, page displays 'loading..' and then stalls. Tried google.nl and .com for Dutch and American cities, no problem with 11.51.The only quick workaround for me is to zoom in to street level, from there all looks normal but I miss the blue 'coverage marking'.
Looks like a settings problem, after moving operaprefs.ini I could drop the pegman (I knew he/it had a name) and voila: streetview. I always try to keep things as default as possible, I would certainly welcome some marks, flags or colors in the preferences editor, that would make it easier to sort out things like these.
Interesting about operaprefs.ini - I'll perhaps try that.
Just done a new installation of Opera 12, added only my Bookmarks and Streetview works. It didn't before in 12 so something that I transferred in the way of settings from 11.52 must have affected it.
I use the standalone/portable installation, so a new one is clean.
