Autoblog Photo Galleries No longer Can Be Viewed

Chrome works. Internet Explorer works. Mozilla Firefox works but Opera won't view the picture gallery in Autoblog.

It used to work fine but now no images can be viewed.

Anybody have any ideas? I tried masking and identifying as IE and Firefox but no change.

There's a patch for autoblog added to the latest browser.js (Opera Desktop 11.50 core 2.9.168, November 14, 2011. Active patches: 209). According to Sitepatching Team:

PATCH-539, autoblog: hide attachEvent to make images visible. They sniff for attachEvent and send Opera down the IE path.

Try updating your browser javascript to AP 209 and see if that fixes it.
Desktop OS: Windows 8 x64 + 7 x64 sp1 x2 + XP sp3; Mobile OS: Android 4.0.4
Opera versions: 12.02, 12.14 & 12.16

Clicked the link. Brought me to a page that was like a foreign language to me. I didn't even see a reference to Autoblog which (for Pesala) is Autoblog.com.

If there is a simple solution, fine, otherwise I will use IE when visiting this site.

I am finding more and more web pages that aren't Opera friendly but I'm also finding pages that I used to have trouble viewing, working fine now.

Opera.......... I would love some day to just use you but I guess I'm stuck with the "In IE" icon for the immediate future.

I seem to be at 207. I don't feel comfortable attempting to change. Opera directions say it will make changes once each week so I'm think I should just leave this alone.

Somehow I checked and saw that the js version was 207 earlier. Now I can't figure out how to do that version check.

Sorry.

It's OK. Your problem is somehow sorted out now. That's the main thing. smile

FYI you only need to go to http://www.opera.com/docs/browserjs/ to check your browser.js version. wink

Happy browsing

Oh boy........ I saw that page. If I'm getting it right, there is a blue circle with an "i" and it states active patches 209.
