Yup, no problems so far (just writing an article on it).

Opera for iOS is wonderful, but i'd like to ask a question: is there a way to see websites in the iphone "friendly" style as for example gmail or twitter? i only can see the general mobile version.

Thx

Nope, still not possible to change User-Agent, not even to that of the desktop Opera.

I'm using Opera Mini 6.5.1 on iOS 5, but don't see the new "Tabs" that are advertised.

Am I missing something obvious? I don't see a setting to turn them on.

If you're referring to "data usage meter", then go to "Help" and select "Data usage".

Sorry, but as long as Opera identifies itself as mobile browser, it is useless on an iPad. There are a lot of websites which don't give you the choice between mobile and normal. I got a 9,7" screen with a resolution of 1024x768, why the heck should i use the mobile website? Bandwith? Who cares? I only got the WiFi iPad, and even if i use my cell phone for going online i don't care about that. I'm just a puny SysAdmin, but even I know it can't be so hard to give the user the choice to turn the mobile-mode off.

I'm fanatically loyal to Opera since version 3.x, but what you built for iPad 'til now is just gruesome. In fact I'm really pissed, that I still have to use that #&"§$/¿§")(§$®-Safari.

It works!! Thank you very much.

I hope that Opera implements this feature.

It is a pity that Opera has the best scrolling and smooth, but size font is too small. And in spite of the scriptlet of Menneisyys, it is quite annoying to change font size everytime.

So I come back to Safari. I will try Atomic Web browser, slower than Opera but readable.

I'm using at Opera for Windows (the Desktop version). the desktop version is very fast, handy, adjustable, powerful and stable browser I've ever used.
But unfortunately, the Opera mini for iOS is very slow both in loading web pages and pictures and it lacks many features that the desktop version has.
hope that the Opera team will improve their iOS browser.
Windows XP SP3
Opera desktop 10.61 build 1250 version.
Opera mini for iOS.

Is there any way to open sites with jps? I know that there's a pdf file in the site above, but i can't fully see it on the ipad.

In tried with the opera servers, like the site above, but it didn't work out either. It's for work. =\
