[New mail UI] Customizing mail headers

Though I love the new mail ui, I regret the mail headers can't be customized the way they used to. It's not possible anymore to right-align them, or to drop the mail header title.

Hope these features will come back. Can anything be said about this?

Strange ... one of my folders that I had customized the headers on is still customized (and looks completely old-style), whereas for example my RSS feeds (which I didn't customize) are new style. Obviously it is still possible but would involve hacking some of the mail files ...

Is there still a way to press F4 to bring up the mail?

(I must say, I really do not like at all the way this was handled in "changing the mail". But, who am I?)

F4 still opens the panel here.

Yes, you are correct. When I was checking the mail it really opened very strangely. I closed it, and later checked the mail, ... the mail system was back to normal. Strange.
