[12.00 b1155] On demand plugin: Can't enable plugin

Hi,
I have seen quite a few pages where it's tricky to manually enable plugins when set to "on demand" loading. This is likely due to layer stuff and layout. But this is one annoying example. The plugin placeholders are really really big, yet I can't get a single one enabled:

Any hints? What's the cause and what can Opera do against it?

Thanks,
gibson

Here's another classic:

I see a big plugin placeholder on top of a preview (image), but can't activate it.

These two examples are still valid in 12.00 b1467.
