Support for devonthink

I apologize for the inconvenience, but I ended up posting a for me very interesting feature suggestion in the mac forum since the occasion was a bug in how things currently work. I suggest discussion would be done in that thread, as the feature as well only regards mac opera. here .

I try to bring across there but would like to state that I recognize that Devonthink is a bit of a niche product today, but on the other hand it appears to have unique and very useful functionality adressing complex, multifaceted problems that very many people struggle with, in a scalable and flexible fashion that lets you decide things like the amount of lock-in with the program you find acceptable. The program has a challenging interface on account of being flexible enough to work for different types of people and across most academic fields, and has for years had challenges with its documentation. I tried to use it a couple years ago and couldn't, I wasn't able to make informed choices on how to use the program. Today though there are several cheap books and a more mature product, bought together with the guide that is suggested as a bundle in the devonthink shop it takes about an hour to get going. Now with a well working learning curve, I believe this will be a common academic/advanced user requirement with time and so that is the background for my suggestions. Also, I believe there could be rather big mutual benefits and feature possibilities in having these two programs and companies talk to each other, which perhaps would be quite challenging for competitors to match.
