Mail UI tweak: Only show subject line (useful for RSS feeds) [Build 1155]
I love the new mail design and layout, however, for my purposes, it still requires a few tweaks. I use mail primarily for RSS feeds.I would like the option to only display the message subject and not the name of the feed/sender. I sift through hundreds of RSS feed messages a day and now each one takes up two lines which makes it more difficult to scan them quickly (one for the subject and one for the sender, which is identical and thus needlessly redundant for all messages within a specific feed folder).
So, it would be great if we could:
1. Have an option to only show subject line in mail folders
2. Failing that, use a different font style for the sender line e.g. italics so that my brain can quickly distinguish between a subject and sender line and filter out what it's not interested in

It's difficult to keep up with all the info out there. I did scan several pages of prior posts in an effort to make sure that I wasn't duplicating a request, but there is only so much you can do so apologies if I've missed something
Could you please clarify which checkbox I am supposed to clear? Your link takes me to the Opera Config, but no specific field is highlighted within the Mail options for me. Here's what I get (screenshot):

Just to clarify, setting "Mail View Two Lined Messages" to '0' did the track for me here. Simply clearing the contents returned the value to '1' by default.
Setting it to 0 makes your mail view (when preview is on the right) display one line per message instead of two. It only shows the subject line and it does not show the sender line.
