Unread count too high

The unread counter next to received and unread goes too high. It seems to increase gradually over time. If I mark all emails as read, then undo this action, the count is now correct (for a while).

I have been getting this for ages, I think i can remember this being a problem back in Opera 10.10 and 10.11,
And maybe even before that even. Well, It's been going on for so long now that i have grown to ignore it.
