Extension management addon or built in function urgently required (only Chrome has em right now)
Google Chrome has something that neither Firefox nor Opera has; an Addon called 'Extensioner' - Using it you can group your addons and disable or enable a particular set of addons when you need them. For example when I want to develop a website, I can enable all extensions that help me do that without opening the extensions page. When I want to work with images, I can enable all those that deal with images. When I want to surf some websites for fun, I can enable those addons at once. It also saves my RAM.Another Google Chrome extension you'd like to check out is the 'Disable all extensions plus'. The name is misleading. It has far more important functions than just disabling or enabling extensions.
I think this is a good idea, Opera devs should really consider incorporating it as a built in feature rather than create an addon for this. Also the extension groups should be syncable ideally.
The idea could be taken further by associating certain extensions with certain pages. An option like 'Always enable remember the milk when on gmail.com' or always enable 'screenshot addon on picasa.com' can certainly help.
Right now Opera does not have many extensions, so they all fit on the adress bar easily, but when I use chrome, I have about 150 extensions - I cannot keep them all enabled at all times, and I cannot open the addon page every time I am on a new page and want to enable a few. The Extensioner addon thus saves time by 1.Opening a pop up menu(like the read it later pop up) instead of a new tab showing all extensions 2.Extensions are all grouped, so on clicking the button 'photo related' (which I create myself), I can enable all photo related addons in one click without leaving the page I am surfing.
The Extensioner addon can be made even better by allowing some extensions to run only on some pages like I have suggested above.
