Don't restart, save and move on. Check again saved config settings and bitmap fonts must be enabled, if you end the session after this operation then on next one old config is restored so check again and test arabic fonts.

Apparently bitmap fonts enabled on server side doesn't have any effect for ios platform and starting from there someone will follow this thread and clarify eventually, please be patient waiting for a response.

I've tested this on several other phones and the problem still existed.
i am restore my iphone to ios 4
on the ios 4
Opera works very well and shows in Arabic
But I've switched the bitmap font to test
And the result was:
bitmap font non enable (its good)

and bitmap font enabled

However I do not care ios 4
I want to use Operamini on ios 3
but Arabic fonts on Operamini is doesnt show in no case on ios 3
sorry im not on the ios 3 for now to take screenshots
Are you an operamini for the next version will solve this problem or not?

Communication gap is real problem. In both of your screenshots, arabic fonts are displayed. Do you mean that it is left to right instead of right to left?

Ok ok. You are saying that it doesn't show arabic characters on iOS 3 unlike 4. I don't have iPRODUCT, so can't confirm it. If you wish to report bug:
http://mini.bugs.opera.com/ .
Also if you can give screenshots from iOS 3 with bitmap fonts enabled and disabled, it would help solving.

Looking at screenshots, bitmap font is applied for box characters only. Other characters are not perfect box, there's little dot at left-bottom corner. You might solve this if there's any way to install arabic fonts. Otherwise wait for officials' reply.
