How to activate or deactive automatic overwrite in opera notes
I have a problem, for some reason I must of mistakingly used a shortcut that makes all the text I write in opera notes to replace the one that is already inserted in a note. What I mean isif I have the text written - for example: "My nme is..." - And I go to add a missing letter or word - "My name is...", what happens is that the letters or words after the place where I placed the cursor get written over instead of inserting the letter or text - "My nae is...".
Can somebody help me with this???
In Tools, Preferences, Keyboard setup, Edit, do a quick find for "Ins" and delete the keyboard shortcut that says "Toggle overstrike." This will also prevent this happening in message boxes and the email composer.
