Automatic image download
Hi, I have Opera 12 build 1155 on W7. I want to ask if is possible to open all images in received emails automatically. I know there is option to automatically load images from specific server but it dont work everytime. Its annoying to click to "load all images" every time.I have the same problem here with my mails in Opera 11.60 and MAC OS X Lion. After reading this post, i disabled "Suppress External Embeds" and "Prefer Plain Text", but i still need to manually load pictures in every mail i get. It's kind of annoying.... Any advice? Thanks.

Do you have low-bandwidth mode enabled or have "do not download attachments" set? If so, you should turn those off (at least the latter).

Low bandwidth mode is disabled. I can't find "do not download attachments" setting though. A little help, please?
It's called "Do not fetch message attachments" on the incoming tab in the account's properties. It's grayed out if low-bandwidth mode is turned on. It's only available for IMAP account's though. You didn't say what type of accounts you have though so I assumed IMAP. If you're using POP, you shouldn't have the option and I'm not sure what else the problem could be.

Thank you for the quick reply. Yes, i have IMAP, and both "low bandwidth" and "do not fetch message attachments" are not checked. Don't know what to do more....
Download the Opera installer and use the "standalone installation" option to install to a folder on your desktop. Setup the IMAP account in it (do not import) and see if it works fine there. If it does, in your normal install, you could delete the IMAP account and add it back in. If that doesn't help, you can close down Opera, delete the mail directory, start Opera back up an add the IMAP account back in. But, if you have POP and feeds etc., see <http://my.opera.com/operawiki/forums/topic.dml?id=1162442>. If it still does it after all that, it's probably something in your preferences directory like operaprefs.ini. In that case, you could close down Opera and rename it so Opera creates a new one.
If nothing works, maybe it's something with the particular messages you're getting. Double-check again that "prefer plain text" is unchecked.
