Weird rendering of Arial font

Hi everyone. I'm using Opera 11.52 on Kubuntu 11.10. Fonts (Arial's the one I'm having the most problems with) look like in the screenshot. Has anybody experienced this? Anybody know how to fix it? Arial renders fine in everything else (Firefox, Rekonq, misc text programs).

opera -debugfont

is at http://pastebin.com/qW1VX8ts

The problem persists even with a fresh profile, http://i.imgur.com/LllXx.png

Even in the Fonts settings dialog, it's still broken: http://i.imgur.com/u0jA3.png

fc-match arial

gives

arial.ttf: "Arial" "Normal"

Which font providing packages do you have installed? The following should provide you with a list:
fc-list : file | sed -e "s,: $,," | xargs dpkg -S | sed -e "s,: .*,," | sort -u

Actually this bit of you debug font output interesting:
opera: adding font family Arial
opera: adding font file /usr/local/share/fonts/w/WTHIW.ttf

A quick search for that font leads me to:
http://www.superdownloads.com.br/fontes/what_the_hell_is_wrong.html

Something funny about the way that font is reporting itself. If the license allows it could you provide me with a copy of that file.

Output

lmodern
ttf-dejavu-core
ttf-dejavu-extra
ttf-freefont
ttf-liberation
ttf-lyx
xfonts-scalable

I think this might be it. Will do investigating after I get home.

Edit: Awesomeness! Just deleted that font and everything works it should. Thanks!
