Javascript under Opera under Win7 Starter
I have an Acer Aspire One with Win7 Starter. When a trusted site tries to start a Javascript on this machine, I got the message that my browser doesn't support Java.
But I use Opera 9.8 Version 11.52 and Java is enabled for sure. I have also put in 2GB memory to ensure memory wasn't the reason.
Trying Javatester.org gives OK pink rectangle saying Java Version 1.6.0_29.
When I try IE 8 it is possible to log in to my netbank which uses Java.
(If it is Java or a javascript... I see a circle rotating and after that a small window is built up)
The problem is only that Opera is my preferred browser and I would be glad to use it also in this case.
I have another Acer running Win7 Home, which runs Java excellent.
