@ Antonietta - Your album is here:
http://my.opera.com/shootell/albums/show.dml?id=2910371However, very likely you can't see it and only S&T moderators can. Therefore please give us some estimate of time when you will be available to backup your pictures. So, we can reopen that album for a limited period.

I`m having problems getting photos in date order. This is a problem If I post more than one week or added to previous weeks. It places the photos by up-load order. The real problem is, I can`t move them to the right place any more. I just get a "forbidden" sign. The old date system seemed to work reasonably well..

Don't worry about it too much. Now that we have new requirements for 4-40 pics per month, and using monthly tags, it does not matter if few images are in wrong date order,
The upload order is known issue. Only ways around it is use either name order or upload one picture at the time. If you choose name order, then you have to rename all your old pictures. See how I have done it:
20110708b
20110708a
20110707a
...
The idea is to use yyyymmddx code to get the picture into right order. Notice that you can rename pictures on MyOpera album edit view

Thank you.

Things may be a little complicated as I have a number of photos from December to upload and one from September I discovered, but I will improvise a bit.
21. January 2012, 00:30:27
The reason I mention the September photo (actually 3, but the same subject) is because It is the only one for that week. The others ( quite a large number

) I will sort out and post a few for each week.

As far as I know it is unfortunately impossible to download number of pictures at once from MyOpera albums.

If possible through CSS editing, can you please make the font size of Album description bigger? At least same size as the blog post font, please, or even bigger. My ageing eyesight, my new small laptop monitor, and my new bifocal progressive glasses all make reading those small letters painfully difficult. Thank you very much in advance.

Thanks Sami. I've been fooling around trying to set up a custom CSS for MyOpera without success. I wish MyOpera as a whole had the option to use bigger font as member setting.

Yes, that is a problem with Opera. On some other browsers Ctrl+/- only change the size of the font

11px really was too small, especially when font size was larger even on comments. We have now changed the picture description to 13px. Folks, do you think it is now large enough?

Thanks for the change Sami. But I was actually hoping for bigger
Album description font.
You see, Sami, we can use the community BB code to edit picture description. I've already used it to show larger font there. However the BBcode does not work in Album description font. That is the reason why I asked specifically for the CSS change in Album description font size.
Is it not possible to enlarge Album description font, too?

Thanks, Sami. And thank you for increasing the photo description font. Now I can read other people's pic description more easily

OK, thank you very much Thomas for testing

So, will report this as a bug then.
P.S. I almost forgot this good old helpdesk thread, which is the best way to contact mods

Mods, I hope Thomas is not the only S&T moderator subscribed to this

OK, shouldn't that be changed? Or should one first ask Carina if it is alright to open her album for public?

Okay then, I suppose everyone does not want to share their shots in public. But the fact another member then can't subscribe to is again more or less a MyOpera bug

I see if I have energy to report it.

I agree with Thomas, it is ok if she wants it for members only, which could be the reason. To become her Myopera friend could be one solution

I see "Subscribe" button when I log-in as mimismum. As I've posted at your Feedback forum thread, I think it's either moderator specific bug or your site-specific CSS or JS is to blame. Have you by any chance "hide" something on MyOpera using CSS?

You are absolutely right

I should have realized this happened when I became moderator again.
@ Fellow mods - Here's URL you can use if you want to subscribe to any of S&T albums by members:
http://my.opera.com/shootell/watch.pl?rtype=album&rid=ALBUMNUMBER
Just check the number of album and put that there on the URL. Not sure if this works, but I think it should

Hi. Just wondering if you could make the blog front page (
http://my.opera.com/shootell/blog/) lighter and shorter? The current page is really heavy with photos from three exhibitions. What about showing only the most recent exhibition in full and using Post intro option for older exhibitions?

Thanks for notice MM

I try to edit the old articles as often I remember, to show only intro on front page. We just like to keep the latest exhibition fully displayed on that front page. I do the editing right away

Thanks, Sami. Much better now. Previously when I flicked the page from top to bottom using my touchpad's side-wipe for scroll-coasting, opera:cpu went up to 90+%, almost freezing Opera. Now it's only about 5-10%

Hi, guys. Just want to update you on my IT situation. As reported at the group blog post and being discussed in the comment section of
http://my.opera.com/mimi_s_mum/blog/2013/01/30/the-glorious-summer-and-laptop-misbehaving , it looks like my private/primary laptop is going to be out of action for a while.
I am in the process of backing up data in an external drive, as well as copying over to my fairly new backup laptop. (Thanks goodness I bought this cheap, bulky, no frills workhorse earlier as a work backup PC. Two computer purchases in a year!) I have done copying all of my original photo image files and most of the ones edited on the problem one. I have also set up a hobby account in the work backup PC, so that I can do reviewing, selecting and editing photos on it.
I have a work order for the coming week and also want to make sure I haven't missed any important data in the faulty one before I take it to the shop, hopefully sometimes this week. So I'm hoping to finally upload photos for January in about 10 days time.
