Link expiry longer than 99 hours

Hello,
in the past, I use Opera 9.x and all visited links were displayed as visited for more than a week (about 10 days)
Now, with Opera 11.52 they are displayed as unvisited already after 4 days.
I configure (opera:config) -> Link
Expiry 32
Expiry (hours) 99

More than 99 is not able to configure. I also test to set zero hours and hope it will use the expiry 32 (days) setting. But again after 4 days, all links are displayed virgin.

I reflect to go back to Opera9.

Can you give me a hint to convince Opera 11.52 to remember my visits for a longer time?
Yours sincerely
Franz

Maybe I misunderstood, but there are only 24 hours in a day, so setting it to 32 days and 0 hours should work. I am not sure what setting it to 99 hours would do.

See this post. Apparently, what you need to do is stop clearing the cache, and increase the cache size to keep visited links for longer.

Hello Pesala,
thank you for your quick response.
I had already disable 'cleaning the cache' set the size to 400MB and remember 50000 links.
In your link, i can read, the behave is since 10.54. So I will downgrade to this version. Without longer link history, Opera isn't use able. mad
Thank you very much
Franz
