Searching in yahoo mail always causes a crash.... Plus - annoying adverts!

Hi all

Had this problem for a fair while now and it is getting too irritating!!!

I use yahoo mail (the classic/old version). When I put something in the mail search field to look for specific emails, it always causes yahoo to go to a blank white screen and crash. If I then open a new window, browse to yahoo again, and search again - it works! And it continues to work if i do subsequent searches soon after. Leave it much more than half an hour though, and when I do a search the same thing happens.

Does this happen to anyone else and does anyone know how to fix it?

While I'm here, I'm also having a problem with the banner ads you get at the top of yahoo mail. One in particular - Laurel Garnier - multiplies. I can end up with 5 ads stacked on top of one another! Does anyone know if this is an issue with Opera or with Yahoo itself?

Many thanks

Max

Can't imagine that I'm the only person having this problem. Not least of all because I installed Opera on my GF's laptop and the same thing happens on that as well.....

Still having these two problems and wondered if anyone out there can help to solve them. I am on v11.60.

I recently installed Chrome as a trial and everything worked fine on that. Really don't want to change browser and love Opera in all other ways. So any advice on how to solve these issues would be fan-bloody-tastic!

Cheers

Max
