Microsoft Website Annoyances
Microsoft, sigh. The Zoo Tycoon 2: Endangered Species page looks distorted.
Dropdown menus don't work. For instance, here are two in the left menu (you can see the arrows). There are no mouseover effects on the menus either - in fact, the menu on the front page is the only place where the mouseover effects work in all browsers.
Microsoft Product Information Center looks distorted, seems to leave Opera without a style sheet.
On Microsoft's product documentation pages, such as this one, the menu trees don't work very well. The icons you see from the beginning in Opera are not very logical (the plus, minus and "one level up" signs make no sense as they are used). Try clicking on the icon for "Music and sounds", it will open one sublevel of the menu. In Opera, the images are missing from icons of those items opened. Do the same in IE - it will open several levels of menues, and the images load as they are supposed to.
On this customer evidence page, the content on the left side looks bad in Opera (too wide, too much space on the top).
Microsoft Business & Industry also seems to fail to send a style sheet to Opera 8. It looks slightly better in Opera 9 but the link elements are misaligned and missing list bullets.
Finally, the Windows Vista page still renders wrong in Opera 8, and the problem with Microsoft's Finnish Office Online site remains unfixed, and my emails (both in Finnish and English) are still unanswered.
