Daniel admits he and his mother could do little but stammer and stutter around each other for days after their cyberspace exploits came to light. And his father Paul -- Nicole's husband of 27 years -- wasn't too happy when the story hit the news and his beer-drinking buddies made him the butt of their jokes.
"Dad was ticked for a while and he forbid Mom to talk to anybody on the Internet ever again," said embarrassed Daniel.
Serves them both right though...this means that she was still married to his dad at the time....

The upshot in the first run is that WWN "news" are believed because they are Yahoo, in the second run that the veracity of Yahoo would be in doubt since they are the people publishing fake news.

The obvious question is "why now"? The original story was published weeks ago and was debunked well over a week ago. The interval between Christmas and New Year's Eve is a dead zone both for news and people working, but the paper still needs to be filled.
