Blog RSS missing author name
I thought this was just a quirk of My Opera but I tried looking at my feed and it showed me as author: http://my.opera.com/willyum/xml/atom/blog/But for ShallowMuse, it shows: http://my.opera.com/ShallowMuse/xml/atom/blog/ (OH, WAIT! I see, it's taking "Author Name" from the Opera > About > Name field... so could it default to the Username when About field is empty?)
<author>
<name> </name>
</author>
Also, http://my.opera.com/Nerak/xml/atom/blog/ "properly" returns an empty "Feed Name" because she doesn't have a blog title but it'd be nice if it defaulted to "Nerak's Blog" or "My.Opera.Com: Karen's Blog" (stealing from the author string)
<title type="xhtml" xml:lang="en-US">
<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="en-US" dir="ltr"></div>
</title>
<subtitle type="xhtml" xml:lang="en-US">
<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="en-US" dir="ltr"></div>
</subtitle>
And speaking of the Author -> Name attribute - what's with all the space padding? Actually, I don't care about that, was just sort of weird.
Thanks OC Team, really appreciate the work you do (otherwise I couldn't stalk my favorites as easily, ya know).
Yum
