Bookmark not fully prorogating, but reappear if I use "Manage Bookmarks"

OS: Windows 7 - 64 bit Enterprise
Version of Opera 11.52 build 1100 32 bit - thumb drive install
No external synching with any devices

When I click on "bookmarks", I get the last folder I used from the previous session and no other folders/links. However, when I click on "Manage Bookmarks", they fully prorogate and are fully viewable by clicking on "bookmarks". Not a huge issue and it could easily be the OS, the install of Opera, etc. Just thought I'd ask if anyone else has ran into it or not.

As always, thanks and sorry for any duplication of posts

What do you mean by the term "prorogate"? My understanding of its definition is to adjourn or suspend something, especially a legislative body... and I can't see where that fits into your message with regards to folders or links. Perhaps you mean "propagate" or "populate"?
Opera 12.14u (1738), 11.52 (1100) & 10.63 (3576) running on various Windows systems from Win7-64 down through KernelEx4-modified Win98FE (proof that reports of Win98's demise are greatly exaggerated).
