Tab Order - opening in new background tab order

Hey, is there a way to make it so a new background tab gets opened right next to the current tab instead of at the end of all my tabs?

Menu > Settings > Preferences > Advanced > Tabs > Check "open tab next to active". It will make new tabs to be opened on the right of the active one.

For background tabs, just middle click on the link or use shift+click.
