Opening Opera, the cursor should be in the adress bar

Hey Guys,

in earlier versions, one could just start typing in the adress bar, recently it changed so you have to press F8 at first. This is a little inconvenient.
I would appreciate it, if this changed back in default mode.

Thanks a lot

Sebastian

It is still the case that the cursor is in the address field in a new speed dial tab. If its not for you, something is wrong.

It's not if you have extensions installed. They seem to take focus away from the address bar when they load and unfortunately they're the last thing to load.
I for one welcome our browser overlord. All hail Opera

Yup. When I start Opera, the homepage loads (it's a lightweight homepage - Indian version of Bing.com) and after that the extensions load. That is why Ghostery always says 'Not Scanned' when I start Opera.

One bug report is enough — duplicates only waste the developers' time. If you post the bug report number (without the email address) in this thread, then others will know that it has already been reported.
