Opera 11.60 Build 1173: Saturday Snapshot With Bug Fixes

You'll see mostly bug fixes in this snapshot, but one thing we've added is a message about the upgraded interface for mail which will give people a quick overview of the changes to the mail UI.

The upgrade message will show up for existing 11.60 users as well as people who are upgrading from a previous version.

Do you mean the yellow "press space" message?

I've been seeing a weird bug in the Window menu. Sometimes empty menu items appear out of nowhere. Nothing happens when I click them. I don't know what causes them and I can't reproduce the bug as it seems to be completely random. I'm using the FreeBSD i386 version.

The problem with disappearing of flash content still not fixed (sometimes flash not disappearing after the tab being closed, and always staying on top, even on speed dial).

Recent emails (15 of them) in M2's "Inbox" pushed to the bottom of list view, And (3) rogue/blank
emails added just above them when changing to any (virtual) folder and back again.

I have my emails sorted in "sent date", "descending" order, With grouping/threading disabled.

This has only just started to happen in 11.60 build 1173, But has not happened in any of the previous
11.60 builds.

This is the Linux version run on Linux Mint 10 32bit.

EDIT: This problem does not appear whatsoever in the Windows 11.60-1173 build on Vista SP2 32bit.

I've mentioned the "some new emails on the bottom" issue on our testing list yesterday. It isn't completely consistent, but I've seen it before. No idea on the blank ones though ... what happens when you select one?

Oh, I was seeing it in 12.00 build 1174 though ...

When double clicked on to view the rogue/blank emails, Two of them produce the same result,
Both are blank in the message area, Apart from an outline picture of an envelope in the message area,
With text underneath saying "No message selected", And the email message number as the title,
Ie. both say 565 in this case. The other (middle) message in the list produces the same message area
results, But the title is a duplicate of the first proper message below the rogue/blank messages.

Hope this is understandable ?.

Looks like possible data corruption ?.
