italics won't work in BB

I use my blackberry to do a lot of online reading but I can't figure out how to get italics to show up. I looked through the forums and couldn't find anything anybody know how to fix it?

There's currently no way to enable italics in the BB (or Java) version of Opera Mini, sorry. We might do this in the future, but I can't promise anything

Italics doesn't work on native browser either.
