Opera freqently "not responding" even in 1 tabs after automatic update
hi 2 alli'm starting this topic because i can't found any email address of opera technical support.
another reason of creating this topic is that i'm opera user for 3 years and i wish to stay again. yet.
so, all this began from automatic and violent installation of last update (11.52). i really didn't need the update and ignored the message about twice. after it update was installed automatically.
even in 4 tabs (and sometimes in 3, or just in 1 tabs) opera "not responding" it's happening during 1-5 seconds, but very frequently.
as i noticed such thing happens especially on the websites containing large list of text or images.
during the "not responding"-s about a half of the memory (500mb) and page file is available, but there is a high cpu usage.
here is one example

please suggest what to do except waitings (it's very boring) and bug report wizard (i've done already).
thanks, nick.

The new version is very close (Release Candidate), but I suspect that you just need to disable Opera Turbo. If that's not it, delete operaprefs.ini in your profile folder, or try a clean install in a new folder.
Most users are not experiencing the same problems.

I don't really know what has happened to Opera in the last 1.5 years... But being a longtime Opera user I am truly p*ssed off. I've used Opera since versions 6 and 7. My Opera experience has downgraded a lot since version 9.x and 10.x
Of course there has been many new features. But. Today when I (try to) use Opera I have so much litte annoying bugs that I really don't know where to start. But let me list some:
Newest problem is the bug in this threads title. Opera uses 25% CPU (4-core CPU) a lot. I can't really verify on what pages it does it, because it feels like it just does it randomly. Every time CPU usage goes up to 25%, for example when entering text to eBay(.de) search, Opera jams and lets me wait for 1-4 secs before any text will appear. If I write fast (normal speed), usually 4-5 characters are entered in a flash after the jam.
Myfreecams is at least one site that for sure is non usable because of high CPU usage
Then there is the randomly appearing text choosing bug. Choosing any text with a mouse on any site may or may not work. When not working I have to jump from tab to another randomly to maybe get the choosing to work. This is especially annoying in some forums when you can't edit your text normally.
Then there is the abnormal unresponsiveness. I have tried to install Opera many times to different folders, uninstall, remove old opera data and so on. Yet nothing have helped. The newer versions of Opera are almost non-usable for me. I think myself as a casual-basic user, not a power user. I can't even think how power-users would feel about this.
Also I have plenty of "horsepower" in my PC. At least it should run any browser problem free.
I took some 10.70 beta version, installed it just for a test. And whoah. It really delivered better basic user experience than these new bugged piles of features. As there is still no Browser that can match Opera's customizability, I am really ripping my head off here as I just want the normal, basic day-to-day features to work as they should and be able to use the browser without annoyance and hiccups.
People at Opera, please. Get you act together!
