How to force display of contact name on already received emails?

Due to being on a mailing list, i received a lot of mail by people with weird formattings. One of them is like this:

From: "Lastname, Firstname (Firstname)** CTR **" <Firstname.Lastname@company.com>

This is fairly annoying and space-wasting and i'd like to tell Opera to show this contact's name as "Firstname Lastname". I've made the relevant change in the properties of the contact, however mails i've already received have not changed. Is there a way to force this?

Short of exporting the old message and importing it back in, I don't think so and don't even know for sure if that will work. And, even if it does, if using POP, the imported copy won't be tied to the copy that's left on the server, so deleting it won't remove its copy on the server. If using IMAP, you'd have to import into a POP account first and then drag to the IMAP account.

No, it's not solution. I search all the configs but find nothing. The problem can be solved very easily--by adding "contact name" option in the header of message viewing. Maybe somebody can write developers to include this little function. It's really bothering.
