Internet Explorer Emulation

My wife’s company intranet only supports Microsoft Internet Explorer. I found this out after I purchase an iMAC.

Is it possible to configure Opera (for MAC) to emulation Microsoft Internet Explorer?

Thanks,
Bob

Hello and welcome to the Forums.

When on the site that demands IE right click anywhere in the background, choose site specific settings from the context menu, go to the network tab and set the browser identification to "Mask as Internet Explorer".

Ralf has already explained it but in case you don't understand -

1. Go to the website which you want to "emulate" as IE.
2. Right-click on the website and select "Edit Site Preferences".
3. Click the Network tab.
4. Click the Browser Identification options dropdown and select "Mask as Internet Explorer".

Windows 7 SP1 x86 edition and Windows XP Service Pack 3.
