Opera Next 12 build 1174
Our hardware acceleration work is marching on, and we have now integrated a round of fixes for a bunch of bugs in this area, as well as the fixes we have on 11.60.
Some of the most notable fixes on hardware acceleration:
Plugins should now paint in the correct places when scrolling
Dropdown menus on Windows XP don't flicker that badly anymore
Bold hebrew text on Mac should now display properly
Several crash fixes

Opera is black and non-responding although music from flash video is still playing. When I close the nVidia error dialog, Opera crashes immediately with Visual C++ error dialog "Pure virtual function call".

Today, I updated to the newest Opera 12 Alpha. I´m using this browser quit a while and since the last update, I noticed changes on the Opera Mail client. For now, I am getting used to the new style and I have to say, that I dont dislike it. I found out about this new function, which lets you pin emails. I like this and I want to keep using it. But, every time I restart Opera 12 and my email accounts are getting synchroinzed, I lose the pinned emails. I´m not saying that they are deleted... no, they just dont appear anymore as pinned and I have to pin them again.
Is this a bug or a feature?

Greetings,
Oli

p.s. Oh, btw... I noticed, that this was my first post in this forum
Hello from a fanatic Opera user from Belgium
I´um using Opera since 9.20. Right now, I am using Opera 11.52 and Opera 12 Alpha (latest build) on a Win 7 64bit notebook.--------------
On parts of some pages like CNET and Opera (image below) I'm getting what looks like character codes rather than the characters. Is this a bug or something peculiar to my system? I get the same thing on a clean install.

The same problem appeared yesterday (first day of using opera v12)
Also- youtube (and others video services) - very slow and freezy scrolling. YT player react on my actions in 1-3 secs. Very high cpu load! (up to 70-85% opera.exe with 1 yt tab).
Sys: Win7 x64 SP1, DualCore e5200, 4Gb RAM, GT9800
Is it possible to import contacts from other format than opera *.adr ? I can't find this option. A mistake?

Yes, same on Download.com,facebook.com, gmail.com and many others. This is known problem but its not been fixed in 11.60 (Same in 11.52) but Opera 12 might get this fixed.
Ever since I started testing Opera Wahoo builds my video memory tends to fill up completely. I'm a heavy tab user (I usually don't get below 15/20 tabs, and tend to have multiple windows with multiple tabs) and also make use of tab stacking.
System info:
Mac OS X (Air early 2011 model), 10.7.2; + nVidia CUDA drivers installed (4.0.50)
Opera 12.00 build 1174
Vega backend OpenGL
GL_VENDOR NVIDIA Corporation
GL_RENDERER NVIDIA GeForce 320M OpenGL Engine
After using Opera extensively (including Dragonfly, in Lion fullscreen mode) for a couple of hours, the video memory floods to 100% in use (checked with iStat Menus 3) and when this happens Opera gets a lot of garbled pages (screen wide artifacts) when switching back and forth from tab to tab (using ctrl+tab).
Even when I try to use Pyrit (version 0.4.0, using CUDA, 'CUDA-Device #1 'GeForce 320M'' + 'CPU-Core (SSE2)') non of the used video memory by Opera is released and I get an "out of memory" error, eventhough Pyrits (video) memory footprint is really tiny.
Most of the Lion animation are taking ages and are extremely choppy (Expose, desktop switch, etc).
When I quit Opera, everything is back to normal.
Is anyone having the same issues?

Whenever I try to hit F5 for refresh Facebook Preview moves to the end (bottom right corner) ...
UPDATE:
I added Google Calendar to my speed dial as well (https://addons.opera.com/en/addons/extensions/details/google-calendar-today/1.1/?display=en) and now when I press F5 it is only the calendar that moves to the end of speed dial, but facebook preview does not move anymore ... :S
I use Win 7.

Thank you for fixing the issues I've had with label clouds on Blogger. I have high hopes from Opera 12, love the changes you've made to the Appearance.
Now get G+ working, and Chrome's out on its ass as my default browser, baby!!!
Its not browser problem, its google's mental problem with Opera, It sends different code to Opera.
Change user agent to firefox
and use this extension for google+;https://addons.opera.com/en/addons/extensions/details/google-injector/1.4-0/?display=en

Thanks! But the Injector script isn't making it work either. I'd tried the script before posting that comment.
Ok,Keep user agent firefox and use this extension, its working perfectly fine for me!
