Windows 7, Opera 11.52 and ebay category selections stopped working.

Until roughly 2 to 3 weeks ago, I was able to use the ebay "show only" options that appear on the left hand side of a results page. Now when I click on "choose more", for example choose more sizes, nothing happens. I know that ebay does not support opera and don't expect an answer to this recent change. Anyone have this same problem?

It's working fine here. "Choose more" brings up a pop-up with check boxes for selection and other options.

I still have this problem. I found out that I don't have the problem when I use Internet Explorer.

Still using 11.52 ?, Try using the latest stable 11.60 release, Or the newest 11.61(1236) snapshot.

See if that helps sort the problem out.

I have the same problem with the 11.60. I also can't open my emails on the hotmail page. Same problem there. I assume it has something to do with Java. In the explorer everything is working fine.

Please try to use "Preferences > Advanced > History > Empty now" (next to "disk cache") to empty your cache, try again and report back if this works. I'm wondering if Opera may have cached a corrupted JS file and doesn't update it correctly. I've seen this only a few times but it's worth trying.

Nope. Didn't work for me. After I emptied the disk cache, I went to Ebay, did a global search for "pink dress", selected subcategory "women's clothing", selected subcategory "dresses" then selected size type "petites" after which a list of petite size pink dresses was displayed. Then I then checked the "choose more" options under "size type" at which point the request to "choose more" goes nowhere/does nothing.
Got anymore ideas?? Thanks.

Thanks, it worked for me, after emptying the cache and restarting Opera the problem is gone.
Issue solved for me.

If anyone's still struggling with this, I found a solution that worked for me. The problems seems to be caused by Opera's Content Blocking. First try removing items blocked on Ebay...

Right click on the page - Block Content - Details button - remove /adserve/ from the list - Close - Done (if that doesn't work, try removing other items)

If it still doesn't work, try stopping content blocking altogether on Ebay (not ideal as you'll get adverts)...

Right click - Edit Site Preferences - Content tab and remove the tick from Enable Content Blocking
A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting.

Opera 12.16 build 1860 on Windows 8 (and I'll be sticking with version 12 and not 'upgrading')

Clearing the cache DID work for me. I just forgot to restart opera after doing it.
