'Opera Turbo is currently not available' notification

I keep getting the above message in the bottom right corner of my screen. But the thing is, I don't use turbo. My wifi/wired connection (I'm on a laptop not a phone) is fast enough to manage the bandwidth I'm using, so I don't care whether turbo is available or not. But I can't find any way to turn off the damn notification. It keeps flashing every 5-10 seconds, and the notifications build up, so I have to X out of about a dozen of them before I can reclaim that corner of the screen (only to lose it again 5 seconds later). I have the opera turbo > configure opera turbo > notify me of network speeds checkbox turned off, and I tried turning off all notifications in prefs > advanced > notifications. I've even gone into the about:config page and unchecked/changed to 0 all of the options I could find related to turbo, but still nothing. Any ideas?

The setting in opera:config that successfully blocks that message is not where you might otherwise think it was. Try:

Enter opera:config into the address bar and go there
Type Show Network Speed Notification into the "Quick find" box at the top of the page and click Enter
Uncheck the Show Network Speed Notification box that appears
Click on the Save button

Sit back and enjoy your Turbo-message-free Opera.

Haven't tries yet what blackbird says, but with the notifications about speed are turned off and they still come up when turbo is ON. It's very annoying and should be fixed.
