Opera & 4chan & google captcha problem
TL;DR - on 4chan, google captcha does not refresh itself if you have 4chan opened in another tab too.opera 11.60 build 1177, windows 7, but I believe this bug is there through most of the 11.60 builds
Looking for confirmation, hoping for fix.
To test it:
Beware - Its the /g/ board - technology, its should be safe for work(blue), but its still 4chan so do not risk it
http://boards.4chan.org/g/
There you have a link to a board and you can see google captcha up there
If you have only one tab open that captcha will change with each site refresh or after posting...
Problem now is that if you open some thread there in a new tab(clicking reply), it loads with the same captcha and it wont change with the site refresh, you have to manually use captcha refresh.
The tabs are somehow linked together, or better put it, use same resources even when they should not...
No one for confirmation?
Also I tested 1134 build of 11.60(found old installation) and it worked there. Latest builds don't...
One easy way to reproduce it is to open a bunch of threads, they'll all have the same captcha. Not sure if its related but with 4chan X, threads no longer update, either, and the favicons don't properly update.
All in all this Opera build is completely unusable if you frequent a captcha heavy site or load complex userJS files.

Userscripts and extensions have nothing to do with it, I tried a totally fresh install with all Opera related files including appdata/cache deleted.

probably your adblock is at fault here,
I had the same issue with NoAds multilingual
Click its icon top right corner, select preferences, and there under Blocked external scripts, white-list google captcha stuff
ID: DSK-352708
if that matters, probably got reported already several times, but just to be sure...
Anyway I tested 11.60 builds, 1144 is fine and version 1145 is where it breaks.
here is the changelog for that 1145 build that introduced this bug.
They say: "Posting problems should be fixed in the next 24-48 hours. Sorry for the delay—we've been having a hard time troubleshooting it."

Not related to this issue, since this is an Opera specific issue.
Even a "Yeah we'll look into it" would be nice. There's a severe lack of communication for what many consider to be a very big issue, something that prevents them from using Opera 11.60 because of usability issues with their most visited website.

You are of course allowed to have an opinion on the content of the site in question, that does not make it any less of a bug in Opera and something that should be fixed.

You do realize its possible this affects captcha globally.
We are working on it / Мы работаем над этим

Thanks for the update.Yes it was fixed internally (deeply inside the core), and now the fix is on it's way to the "surface" release. I believe we should consider this as a serious issue (note that I'm not the one who makes such decisions hence it's only my personal opinion) and hopefully next release (12.00, 11.61 or 11.70) will have it.
