Mark mail as spam with one click

Is it possible to mark mail as spam with a direct click (not the sperarate icon), like pinning the mail?

No. You have to click the spam button or "right-click -> mark -> mark as spam" or use a "mark as spam" command in a keyboard shortcut.

I guess you could try the "mark as spam" command in the mouse setup under "Ctrl + F12 -> advanced -> shortcuts". You'd put it under 'mail window" with a shortcut of the mouse button you want to use. But, that'd be unsafe unless you make the shortcut require a modifier key like ctrl. But then, it wouldn't be completely direct.

There *used to be* a spam button in the email screen; in this new 11.60 I just installed, it's not there -- where'd it go? I really need it, I get so much spam, so how do I get it back?

Thx

It's still there, look at the icon that looks like a skull.

You said "not the separate icon" so I thought you meant that you didn't want to click the spam button (as LeoCG showed).
