Opera doesn't work

Opera has failed to access or upgrade your profile. This may have occurred because your computer has insufficient resources available or because some files are locked by other applications. You may have to restart your computer before Opera will start again.

Now what I do ? At least please tell me how can I get my favourite pages exported or sth
I really need them since I'm working on master thesis and had great amount of important pages there... stupid me

I'd appreciate it

You should provide more infos on your computer, your opera version and what you tried if you want people to help you.

I have no idea what this message means, but did you try to reboot your computer and try opening opera again like it says?

And what do you mean by favourite pages? Is it your bookmarks, some open tabs or something else.
MAIN PC: 12.16 -> i7-2600k, 16GB RAM, Win 7 x64
HTPC: 15.0.1147.153 -> A10-6700, 8GB RAM, win 7 x64

I just keep getting more depressed every time I update opera. Very old bugs not fixed, easy fix not made(talking about no option to disable image resize here), new "features" even more annoying than the last ones implemented and often poor compatibility with a lot of website.

- Are you attempting to run Opera as a single user or multi-user configuration, and is that the same as it was set up before you reinstalled Windows?
- What is your Opera version?
- Also, if you search out and open the operaprefs_default.ini file in Notepad, what is the value shown (if the entry exists) for "Multi-user=" ? Is it a "1" or a "0"?

PS: your Opera bookmarks are stored in a file named bookmarks.adr -- find that file and immediately save a copy of it to a safe folder. Assuming it has not already been over-written, you should take precautions to preserve its data in case over-writing happens while attempting to restore Opera to operation. If the file has been over-written, it will probably be the small "default" version Opera creates when first being installed - about 1 Kb in size. If it's your customized version, it will be larger - sometimes reaching multi-100's of Kb.
Opera 12.14u (1738), 11.52 (1100) & 10.63 (3576) running on various Windows systems from Win7-64 down through KernelEx4-modified Win98FE (proof that reports of Win98's demise are greatly exaggerated).
