why arent opera deleting peoples account when asked
why isnt my account deleted as i requested i have sent 5 or 6 emails with no response the customor service on here is pathetic and discusting you ask people to contact you they do and get no reply says a lot for opera dont it stay away people i have told friends never to open accounts with theses peopleLeft are a team of moderators which at the time of writing consists of 60 members. Out of 60 members, many of them are only for language-specific forums. That leaves a few moderators monitoring the English forum.
Moderators also have too much work with spam and porn reports - still there are not more than 5 cases in a month when the account is not deleted on request. That's a very low number - considering the low count of people eligible for account deletion.

Moderators can ban accounts, but we do not see (at least I don't) the account deletion requests. Occasionally some people try to use the report users button to get their accounts deleted, "this is my account, please delete" or something like that, but plain old moderators do not see who sent that report, so that is pointless.
I guess the community managers are too busy improving the community to delete the accounts... Maybe they should give us moderators more powers, so we could help.
