Disable DNS questions when using proxy (disable DNS Prefetch?)
When I configure Opera to use a HTTP/HTTPS proxy (Squid, for example), I still see Opera sending out DNS requests. This behavior is completely pointless, since Opera won't ever talk to these servers itself, all traffic goes through the proxy. (In fact, Opera can't even talk to any web servers itself even if I disable the proxy config, since the only way out on the internet is through the proxy; every other way out is blocked in the firewall.)I therefore suggest that Opera by default doesn't ask DNS questions when using a HTTP/HTTPS proxy (except to learn the IP address of the proxy server, of course). If someone, for some strange reason, wants Opera to ask DNS questions even though the replies are totally worthless to the browser, there should be a opera:config option to turn it on.
Searching the forums (and the net using Google), I'm unsure whether Opera has DNS Prefetching or not, but the browser behavior sure seems to indicate that it does.
