What's the difference between the nokia store OM 6.5 and the one at m.opera.com?

I usually go to http://m.opera.com to get the latest version of opera mini which is usually always uptodate and can be installed directly over the previous version without losing all settings and bookmarks. I do this for my android mp3 player too without any problems (with no official market support this is quite handy). The symbian version currently available at m.opera.com is 23709.

However I recently saw on a phone blog that the latest release was 27354 and that it was available from the nokia store. I guess I'm wondering why the .sis on your website is an older version.

Nokia store is pretty crap and clunky and installing this new version from it messed up my existing settings by unistalling the previous version from system memory and installing the new to SD (despite having requested the opposite in the nokia store settings)...

Anyway, just curious are there any differences between the two? Is there anything to gain or lose by using one over the other? frankly I would rather avoid the Nokia store so I hope that m.opera.com is still going to be available.

Correct is 6.5.27309.

See above. Also, the last part of the version (the build number) will never be exactly the same, as they are a bit different when it comes to speed dials and such.

We advise you to download from m.opera.com as this is where you always get the newest version. Some appstores are sometimes a bit late in putting out the updates we release.
