Where is Opera now that I have installed it?
Using ubuntu 11.04, in classic DE modeI went to the opera homepage, downloaded the version for ubuntu, It put a install option in my software center. I clicked installed and it seemed to install opera, the button turned to a option to reinstall it.
But there is no opera icon under internet in applications like where the other browsers went to, no icon on desktop, no seeming way to activate it to use it at all. So where is it? Or did something maybe go wrong?
Ok, someone told me about opening a terminal and typing opera, but I don't want to have to do that every time. How do I add it as a icon in menu with the rest?
Ok, I found out how to edit menu, and it seems like the opera icon was already in there, but there was a bit at the end of the command where I deleted it so the command for the link was only "opera" rather then "opera %u" or what ever it was, and the icon showed up. So what was that bit at the end for, and why did it cause the link to not show in menu?
