displaying old email in Opera 11.60

Hello,
although I have emails already 5 years old stored in M2, the new mail client in Opera 11.60 displays them only when reading emails from individual contacts. In the Unread mail the oldest email is 1 month old, in Received the older mails are 1 year old. And under different labels the oldest email displayed is between 2 months and one year (probably depending on the total number of emails under the label?).
Only when I display the messages from a specific contact, I am able to see messages older than one year.
This can be very uncomfortable when I am looking for a specific email from last May (2011) or even November 2010, which I occasionally do.
Is it possible to configure somehow the age limits of the emails displayed in the Unread, Received folders and Labels?

Thank you

Goto "shift + F12 -&gt buttons -> mail and add the Period button to the mail toolbar. For each view, make sure it's set to "forever".

Then, click the wrench icon on the mail toolbar (the one without hte lines next to it) and set "do not group by date" for example. Or, set it. Note that date groups are collapsible so if you have them collapsed, just expand them.

Also, make sure all the "show" settings are how you want.

You could also export your contacts, delete all your contacts and empty the contacts panel trash and import your contacts back in just to rule out the contact views hiding your messages.

You could also do a database check to see if it helps.

Finally, if necessary, you can do <http://my.opera.com/operawiki/forums/topic.dml?id=1162442> if absolutely necessary.
