11.60 unable to save single attachment in M2 with disk cache set to off

I use M2 to handle emails from my company's POP server and updated opera to 11.60 yesterday.
In emails with attachments, after clicking on a single attachment and choose "save as", I cannot see the file in my harddisk folder in windows explorer.
There is a "save" button for emails with multiple attachments, this button works and files can be seen in explorer.
The "low-bandwidth mode" is disabled in mail settings.

All works fine for me. I can click "save", uncheck all but on and click ok and the attachment is saved. I can also click on a single attachment and click "save as" and save it on problem.

Usually when you choose to save an attachment and no file appears on your drive, it's because the data embedded in the message for the attachment is empty, which Opera sees as nothing to write.

Thanks burnout426!

The problem was just solved after reinstalling a clean copy of 11.60 and re-setup my mail account allover.
And I found that if the "Disck Cache" is set to "off", then a single attachment will not be saved by clicking on it and select "save as".
If the disk cache is some other value like 2M or 20M, the problem is gone.

Have a nice day!

First of all, thank you immensely for posting the solution! This has been such a problem for me for a long time.

Just posting here to confirm this bug and make this thread more findable in the search engines.

Bug: Opera can not save attachments when "Save As..." is selected on a single attachment. Solution: turn disk cache on if at has been set to "Off".
