Several of us reported this during beta testing. It seems to affect only Windows XP, and doesn't seem to have been considered important enough to be worth fixing before release. I must admit, I rarely use fullscreen mode, but I am sure there are some who do.
Without fullscreen mode, I need at least the tab bar and address bar. In fullscreen mode, just the address bar is enough. Not much difference really.

Same problem here on my machine with XP.
I do use Full-Screen mode quite a lot in conjunction with the "Turn Off the Lights"-expansion when browsing sites like youtube.com. It's a really sad thing they release a version that brings in new bugs, especially when those were reported earlier in beta testing...

I do + I'm on XP = my fullscreen experience is ruined !

Ok, here's what I found for WinXP SP3 32:
- Do shift+F12 and chose "tool bars";
- Set ON the "Main Bar". (Do "OK" to close the box)
Now F11 will do the trick!

The following shortcut enters fullscreeen and shows the address bar:
Leave fullscreen & Set alignment, "browser toolbar", 0 > Set alignment, "browser toolbar", 6 & Delay, 10 & Enter fullscreen & Set alignment, "document toolbar",6

Bug is fixed in Opera 11.61 snapshot release. Read the blog before installing, and always install test versions to a separate folder.
