Address bar customization in 11.60

I was curious about the star in address field but after update to 11.60 I didn't see any star in address field (I have it in status bar). I thought that I need to add address field again but when I've opened UI customization panel I cannot drag address field anywhere. Is this normal?

Yes. I cannot drag the address field from the appearance menu either. I had to hit reset toolbar to default option to get it back.
If feature X is to be added in the next version of Opera, make sure there is an option to disable feature X.

Confirmed. Smells like a bug.

The star is permanently there, it cannot be removed. This is by design.
The inability to add the address field is a bug.

Why?

Please add an option to remove such bells and whistles.

Another thing: in various updates Opera adds items to speed dial and bookmarks.
It is very annoying to do a cleanup after such updates. As I'm using Opera at
different computer systems, I have to do this several times, which increases
my negative emotions regarding Opera.

Is it so difficult to upgrade the browser and just don't touch any user settings
(i.e. speed dial, bookmarks ...)?

I guess that adding items to speed dial and bookmarks is a way to keep Opera free of charge.

If there was also a way to keep Opera free of bugs like inability to put address field in GUI wink
