No longer getting Windows balloon email notifications since 11.60
Hi,since upgrading to 11.60 I am no longer receiving Windows balloon notifications of new emails. The option
Tools -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Notifications -> Show notification for new messages
is still checked.

Hmm, since enabling and disabling "Play sound when new message arrives" I'm getting balloon notifications again. tbh I am now doubting that it wasn't working before :-/
I had the same problem. Thx for the tip with the enabling and disabling "Play sound when new message arrives". Notifications work again. Stupid update.
