Opera Link suggestion

I recently started using Opera Link and all I can say is OMG IT'S AWESOME! bigsmile

But there is still a way that it can be made better.

Suggestion 1: I have laptop and netbook. Laptop has 17 inch screen, netbook on the other hand has only 11 inch screen and because of that I had to adjust Speed dial a little bit. Of course, Opera on my laptop immediately adapted changes made on my netbook. So my suggestion is feature with which you could set "main pc" and changes which you would do on any other pc would not effect the main one.

Suggestion 2: Option that would enable its user to erase all the data he synchronized with Opera Link after logging off the certain PC.

Suggestion 3: Option that would enable users to synchronize Email accounts with Opera Link. That would be really helpful for people who are testing out Opera 12.00 Alpha for instance, or if you're using several PC's, using a lot of "system restore" ... it is a pain in the a55 if you have a lot of email accounts bigsmile

Suggestion 4: Option to synchronize widgets and extensions with Opera Link smile

So...what do you think? bigsmile

Dear Opera-Team, dear fellow Opera-users!

I've been using Opera for years now and have recently (well it's almost a year now) started using opera link, which is a great feature in my opinion. I'm using Opera on various PC's/notebooks at home and work and it is really helpful since you can even synchronize you content blocker rules. (I copied my urlfilter.ini file from one PC to another for years! Hahaha... stupid, ain't I?)

However there are a few things that I am missing which would make Opera link more complete and useful in my eyes. Even though this post isn't the newest one and a few of these things might have been already suggested, I thought I'd throw my five cents in here. (<- Did that sentence make sense?)

1. E-Mail Accounts
As mateslo suggested, it would be really helpful to be able to synchronize your e-mail accounts, email-settings, contacts, rss-feeds and maybe even more. It's really a pain to setup all your accounts and feeds on every Opera client.
Furthermore it would be nice if you could synchronize which E-Mails you've already read. I'm using a few Gmail-accounts and when I open Opera, I'm getting a ton of unread Mails, even though I've already marked them as read on my private PC yesterday. <- However I'm not too sure if that's not the problem of Gmail. ┐( ̄ー ̄)┌

2. Browser Settings
It would also be great if you could synchronize your browser settings. Especially when I'm installing Opera on a new PC there a always a ton of things that I've have to set up make it fit my personal preferences (Thank god for Opera letting me do this).

3. Multiple Opera link sets per account
As I said previously, I'm using Opera on my private and work computers. I guess many of you do.
So it's only natural to have a different set of bookmarks, speed dial, email accounts, etc.. I'm currently using two myOpera-accounts, one to sync my private computers and one for work. Wouldn't it be great if this could be done using only one account? Hell it would be! yes

4. Why not everything?
Like skins, widgets, all the things. It would be just like installing a fresh Opera somewhere, then active the magic link... and BAM!! everything the same as you're used to. (<- I know that's a little over the top but... BAM!! that would be fnuikcg awesome!)

Well, I guess that's about it. In my opinion Opera link was conceived to enable the user to experience the same Opera-feeling, regardless which PC he's using. However, even though it's already a great tool and I'm happy to have it, it doesn't feel quite complete yet.

Gosh this turned out to be quite a rant, Thank you for reading this wall of text. (Not bad for first post)
I would like the hear/read your opinion on this?

Cheers guys! wine

PS.: It probably doesn't fit here but there's another feature i would like to suggest.
When you're using Opera on a relatively small monitor, the bookmarks panel will be always getting in your way. However when you want to open a site using bookmarks, you will have to manually open the panel, click on the bookmark to open the site and then manually close the panel (I know you could also press F4). Quite a pain, don't think.

My suggestion would be a mouse-over option for the panel. When you move your mouse over the bookmarks-symbol, the panel pops up, then you just open the site you want, then the panel closes again leaving you with much more space on your screen. OMG that would be great.
Maybe i should suggest this in a separate thread?

:EDIT: ↑ Forget this, I've just read a few posts now about this. It is called AutoHide-Panels and has been suggested quite a few times now. Sorry o

It will be great if it's possible to sync site preferences and RSS accounts
