Selected link options

Chrome has a feature that if you select text that is a link, the right-click menu has an option to go to that link. I think this would be a great feature in Opera, as not all links are always a hyperlink, sometimes they are just text. Of course, there could be additional options to open the link in a new tab, background tab, or new window.

You mean like the "go to web address" entry (2nd from bottom)? Has been there since before chrome even existed.

I didn't explain my request that well, so I can understand that you misunderstood the request, and I've since found out how to do what I was trying to do. My request was to have an option to open that link in a new tab/background tab/new window. I found out you could hold shift, click on Go To Web Address, and it will open a new tab, which is good enough for me.
