Panels with the email client;

I seldom use the panels, and I would like to prevent them from opening when I open the mail client. Can some explain how to do this? Also, I notice that we now have the ability to pin messages. Can someone explain this concept to me? Why would I want to pin a message? What are the benefits of this feature?

Thanks,

Go to opera:config, look for "Auto Mail Panel Toggle" and uncheck it.

Thanks, this worked.

For my future reference, how do I get to opera:config without the link you provided.

Thanks
