I can't get to it from Google, I removed the old version, then re-downloaded, checked all of the security boxes in preferences....no joy. I went to Opera because FireFox was crashing all the time, now Opera seems no better. Heck it even stopped loading my bank's website. I really like the browser, primarily because of the speed dial...but this is getting stupid.
FWIW, I have a similar but intermittent problem with Opera and Netflix. Opera (11.60 and its 11.5x predecessors as well) will be working fine, and then I'll try to re-order my Netflix queue, and suddenly I'm dumped to the Login screen as if I wasn't signed on (instead of updating the queue). Sometimes I can't even log in, sometimes it logs me in but as soon as I try to re-order my queue again, it kicks me out to the Login screen again.
My "fix" is to roll back the ~/Library/Opera folder a day or two (using Time Machine), and then Netflix works normally again for awhile (a week, a month, whatever.) I have no idea what triggers the problem, but once it happens, Netflix becomes unusable. I assume it's something in the Opera preferences (probably releated to my Netflix cookies) getting corrupted by something I do (possibly quite unrelated to Netflix) Thereafter I can't access Netflix without rolling the Opera folder back again.
