Build 1185 - check/send mail icon does not work

It's not a skin problem. When clicked upon the icon does nothing.
Can this be fixed, please?
Thanks.

Works fine for me. Have any chat accounts setup in Opera?

Also, download the Opera installer and use the "standalone installation" option to install to a folder on your desktop. Setup mail in it (do not import anything, and do not uncheck "leave messages on the server" if you use POP) and see if it works fine there.

I do know some users have complained about this in the past, but I can't reproduce it.

For your normal install, what happens if you right-click on the mail panel toolbar, goto customize and reset the toolbar to its defaults? Does the button work then?

OH, I should have clarified that I have 7 emails listed there on that click on icon in whose account properties which I have "include this account when checking manually" checked and two newsgroups are listed which have the checking manually UNCHECKED.
Each email goes to fetch mail if INDIVIDUALLY clicked on in the drop down box.
It is actually "check all" which does not work. It does not work with ctrl+k either.
Will download and check a desktop install when I get a chance.

That's likely the cause. Were those accounts created before your other accounts or after?

Okay, used OperaProfileCreator to create a new profile on the desktop and added three emails - icon worked fine to check all emails when clicked on.
So I guess I'm going to have to start from scratch on my Opera 1185. ;(

You can do that in the installer without the need for OperaProfileCreator. You can also create a new shortcut to Opera with -pd "path" to start Opera with a new profile.

If you do and add the newsgroups back in where you set them to not check for new messages, you'll probably trigger the bug again. I'm hoping though that if you add them last that "check all" will work up until it hits those accounts. But, don't know for sure. It's definitely a bug in Opera imo.

Actually, I don't remember - the one newsgroup is news.opera.com so, I guess, it was concurrent with the installation and I believe I imported the email rather than just copied to mail folder over.
I also have a usb Opera (single user) install to root of C drive. Yeah, I live life on the edge. smile

Same here on both my mother's machine and mine. We only have one mail account each and the upgrade was from 11.52 via the automatic update.
Workaround is to send/receive the individual account but obviously some bug has been triggered.

Hello all,
sorry for my English translated by Google
same problem on version 11.60 Revision 1185 on debian linux.
Check all email accounts stopped working since the beginning of the 11.60 version and does not work on version 12.00.
I confirm that removing my accounts irc, it works again.
Thank you for giving the solution to the problem. :hat:

What do you mean by "removing my accounts irc"? I have about 8 chat irc accounts but they are not listed in the check/send icon drop down box.
Do you mean I should remove my two newsgroups listed in the dropdown box?

Edit: I removed both newsgroups from the drop down list (deleted them in mail & chat tools) and ctrl+k still does not work. Next I will remove all of my irc listings even though they are not in the list and not being checked ever unless I use the built in Opera chat.
Edit 2: Okay, I removed ALL of my irc's and newsgroups from my mail account list and ctrl+k now works to check all of my email accounts.

IRC accounts and listed in accounts.ini in the mail folder. Check/Send doesn't seem to skip them and fails. If you add you irc accounts last, things might work.

Thing is, users have been complaining about this check/send problem for a couple of years. Not sure why 11.60 is triggering it a lot more.
